Abstract

Brachistosternus telteca (Scorpiones, Bothriuridae), a new species from Argentina. The new species B. telteca is described. It occurs in Argentina, in the province of Mendoza (Departamento Lavalle). The male holotype was collected in the Telteca reserve. The new species does not belong to any of the subgenera described for the genus, due to its trichobothrial pattern.
