Actualización de la distribución y algunas consideraciones sistemáticas sobre el Yal Plomizo (Phrygilus unicolor) en la Argentina

Abstract

Update of the distribution and some systematic considerations on the Yal Plomizo (Phrygilus unicolor) in Argentina. With the purpose of updating the systematic of the Yal Plomizo (Phrygilus unicolor) in Argentina, 111 specimens were checked. As result of this review it is considered that the subspecies cyaneus must be included in the synonymy of Phrygilus unicolor tucumanus. Also there are contributed new localities obtained from literature, material of collection and records of observation, which allow to specify the distribution panorama of the different subspecies in the Argentina.
