Abstract

Record of the genera Dipogon Fox, Herbstellus Wahis and Priocnessus Banks for Argentina, with desciption of new species (Hymenoptera, Pompilidae). The southern distribution of the genera
Dipogon Fox and Priocnessus Banks is extended to Argentina. The species D. populator Fox is recorded for the province of Misiones. A new species of Priocnessus from the province of Córdoba, P. meridionalis n. sp., is described. The type species of the Chilean genus Herbstellus Wahis is recorded for the province of Neuquén, and the new species H. lamprus is described from northwestern Argentina. A new species of Anacyphonyx Banks, A. glabriventris n. sp., is described also from northwestern Argentina.
