Novedades y comentarios sobre la distribución de algunas especies de aves del noroeste de la Argentina. II
Abstract
Discoveries and comments on the distribution of some species of birds from northwest Argentina. II. Based on a study of 11 specimens of 7 birds species collected in the southwest of Catamarca Province during November 2005, new localities are provided for Tinamotis pentlandii, Fulica ardesiaca, Fulica gigantea, Fulica cornuta, Recurvirostra andina, Vanellus chilensis and Attagis gayi. These species are of special interest since they are poorly representd in Argentine museums where the few specimens mostly have a historical value.Downloads
