Abstract

Description of the mature larvae of the genera Stethelmis Hinton y Luchoelmis Spangler
& Staines (Insecta: Coleoptera, Elmidae). Mature larvae of the endemic Patagonian genera Stethelmis
Hinton and Luchoelmis Spangler & Staines are described and illustrated for the first time. A diagnosis for these
two genera and a comparative table allowing separating larvae of the elmid genera found in the province of
Chubut (Argentina) are included.
