Abstract
Contribution to the knowledge of the phycoflora of Buenos Aires City ponds: Tres de Febrero Park. Plaza Sicilia. This paper deals with the algal diversity of an artificial pond in an open air area of Buenos Aires city (Argentina). Samples taken during one year were studied analyzing the dynamic of the algae and the abiotic factors. One hundred and three taxa (Cyanophyta, Chrysophyta, Xanthophyta, Euglenophyta and Chlorophyta.) were identified.
